Outdoor Team Building

Boot Camp

Groups of 1 - 10 can be taken on a day's activity training or weekend mini expedition. Activities can include hill walking, camping, orienteering, climbing, abseiling, river crossings, mountain biking, survival training, skiing or winter mountaineering, using the boot camp approach, which follows a military theme. A strong emphasis is placed on team building and leadership.

Climbing

This module is extremely physically challenging. Activities are designed to draw upon and enhance leadership skills and team spirit. All necessary risk assessments and safety briefings are performed to ensure the welfare of delegates. It should be noted that mountaineering and climbing activities are sometimes fitness and weather dependant.

Abseiling

This module is an ideal team building activity. Our qualified instructors pay close attention to safety, ensuring delegates' welfare whilst enabling them to enjoy a confidence building experience.

Snow and Ice

Frozen terrain makes a challenging, awe inspiring environment. Delegates will learn to navigate a trail through ice and snow, building self confidence as they do so. Skiing and winter mountaineering are available.

Expeditions

Expeditions may take many forms and will be geared for the needs of the delegate group. Modules such as camping/survival, canoeing hill walking, river crossing and climbing can be incorporated.

Hill Walking

Escape from the city, and experience a little solitude and the beauty of nature, whilst improving your fitness levels. This module can be geared to different age groups and fitness levels to achieve the desired degree of challenge. This module can incorporate other skills such as camping and orienteering.

Mountaineering

Not for the very unfit, this is typically one of our most challenging modules, great for team building and leadership skills.

Camping / Survival

The module includes shelter construction, fire starting, maintenance and uses, water collection and purification and how to prepare a meal from ingredients found around you.

Canoeing

Throughout the module which will be led by an experienced and qualified canoeing coach, safety issues will be fully addressed. Delegates will be coached in the basic skills required to control their canoes before having the opportunity to exercise them whilst paddling down a canal or river, taking in the beauty of nature.

Sports Coaching

Coaching involves developing and improving people and their behaviour within a sporting context. This can be used in team building as well as to sharpen both minds and bodies of the participants. Our trainers will work alongside you to ensure you meet measurable and attainable goals.

Team Fitness Training

We are happy to work with a small group or roll-out a company-wide plan. Whilst the module involves team fitness, the needs of each individual will be assessed and monitored throughout. Activities are varied to maintain interest and motivation.

Personal Fitness Training

Personal training is precisely that: training designed around an individual for his or her personal needs. Those needs may be weight loss, fat burning, increased flexibility, body conditioning, fitness development or to improve general health. The mental strength also gained from achieving personal fitness is not to be under-estimated. The use of a Personal Trainer should not be exclusive to the rich or famous, on the contrary, it is for anyone seeking improvement and self-development.
